In this issue of Eggers News you will find a brief portion of an article recently featured on FSC.org entitled FSC Remains the Only Forest Certification System to Qualify Under the USGBC's LEED MRc7 Credit for Certified Wood. As a manufacturer of FSC certified wood products, it is especially important to stay up-to-date on everything related to environmental regulations.
November-December - 2010

July-August - 2010
This issue provides a wealth of information in regards to environmental requirements and legislation. New product announcement - FSC certified structural composite lumber core (SCL) is now available. You will also find out what you need to know when performing touch-ups on LEED projects, the details of the formaldehyde bill recently signed into law and the increased demand for FSC certified, acoustical and mineral core fire doors and frames on government projects.
May-June - 2010
A detailed description of CARB - Phase 2 can be found in this issue of Eggers news along with a project spotlight of a LEED platinum project. Eggers provided vertical grain fir wood doors with FSC certified core constructions containing no urea formaldehyde.
March-April - 2010
New 45-minute offerings allow Eggers and distributors to be more competitive with fire door offerings and LEED requirements. This new approval allows for FSC certified and no added urea formaldehyde constructions for contribution to LEED requirements without sacrificing price. There is also an article in regards to our FSC audit preparation and the rules and requirements involved with FSC chain-of-custody certification for an organization.
November-December - 2009
This issue removes the mystery of distributor FSC chain of custody requirements. You can also find the new Vinterio flush wood door highlighted as it was a hit at the 2009 Greenbuild Expo.
